1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or purchasing from A Little Kindness LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order or using our website. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
2. Handmade Nature & Cottage Food Law
All of our desserts and candles are handcrafted in small batches under Florida’s Cottage Food Law, which allows approved home-based production of non-potentially hazardous foods. Our owner and baker is a Certified Food Handler who follows state food safety guidelines to ensure that each item is made, packaged, and labeled properly.
Because our products are handmade, you may notice natural variations in color, scent, or appearance — these are part of what makes every item unique.
Our candles feature natural wooden wicks. Due to the organic material, small wood specks or fragments may occasionally appear in the wax. This is a normal characteristic of wooden wicks as they naturally break or flake during the burn process and does not affect candle performance or safety.
Our desserts and candles are produced in a home kitchen that also processes common allergens.
3. Allergen Disclaimer
We list potential allergens (such as nuts, dairy, gluten, soy, or eggs) in multiple locations — on product listings and labels. By purchasing, you acknowledge these warnings and agree that A Little Kindness LLC is not liable for any allergic reactions or sensitivities once these allergens have been disclosed.
If you have severe allergies, please proceed with caution or consult a medical professional before consuming or using our products.
4. Candle Use & Safety
Each candle includes a care and safety card. Always follow those instructions:
• Keep wicks trimmed to ¼ inch.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Burn on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, pets, and children.
• Stop use when ½ inch of wax remains.
We are not liable for damage, fire, or injury caused by misuse or failure to follow these instructions.
5. Order Transportation
Once shipped, delivery timelines are the responsibility of the carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS). We are not liable for carrier delays, stolen packages, or incorrect delivery addresses provided by the customer.
6. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in USD. We reserve the right to correct errors, update prices, or refuse service for any reason. Payment is required at checkout.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including text, images, logos, and product designs — is owned by A Little Kindness LLC. You may not reproduce or use this content without prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use, misuse, or consumption.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time without notice. The latest version will always be posted on our website. Continued use of our site or services means you accept any changes.
